Director of Search Marketing The Director of Search Marketing (DSM) will be responsible for developing strategy and managing paid search for Spark Networks to support customer acquisition and transaction goals at allowable acquisition costs. The DSM will continuously identify and evaluate new opportunities for distribution growth and will interface with internal marketing, product, and technical groups to develop, implement, and support marketing strategies and programs. He/She will steward and coordinate campaign through all phases of launch and maintenance, including contract review and approval, ad copy development, trafficking, reporting and analysis, and optimization. Responsibilities:
The Director of Search Marketing will work closely with the Director of Online Marketing to develop strategy and manage the company’s PPC search campaigns to successfully drive cost-effective sales. This person will need to be analytical and organized, understand business drivers, and possess effective communication skills to develop and maintain close relationships with the top-tier search engines. The DSM will be responsible for generating campaign performance reports, providing performance analysis, and executing on that analysis to ensure positive ROI.
